Ryan Ponseti

Ryan is a driven and dedicated professional with a diverse background that has prepared him to excel in the world of real estate. Born in New Orleans and raised as a Coast Guard kid, Ryan developed a love for traveling and an appreciation for people from all walks of life. He has lived in all four corners of the US, including Alaska, Hawaii, California, New York City, and Florida, among others. Ryan spent his last two years of high school in Smithfield, Virginia before attending Liberty University, where he graduated with a Zoology major. After college, he spent a year interning at the Virginia Aquarium, gaining valuable experience with the Stranding Response team and the veterinarian staff. He then spent eight years in veterinary medicine, working at animal hospitals and earning his Veterinary Technician License.

In 2020, Ryan decided to make a career switch and obtained his real estate license, falling in love with the industry immediately. His wife, Michele, a professional DJ (DJ PonFetti), was his biggest motivator and inspiration to leave his traditional nine-to-five job. She had been working for herself for over ten years, so Ryan had a great role model to follow! He was awarded the Rising Star Award from his broker in his first year and quickly decided to expand his skill set by working with real estate investors. This led him to join the investor team at eXp Realty where he continues to excel. He is dedicated to being a 'One Stop Shop' agent, with the skills to assist anybody's real estate needs no matter their goal or situation.

Ryan and his wife have two children and they have resided in Virginia Beach for almost ten years. Outside of real estate, Ryan's interests include athletics - he played soccer, baseball, and basketball growing up, but now he is an active member of the Virginia Beach Falcons rugby club. He is also an avid reader, a science fiction and horror movie and book enthusiast, and a skilled cook of all kinds of food, but especially New Orleans cuisine.
